Landing page owners may optionally include survey questions in their email capture modals:

• Survey answers - Your responses to survey questions when you submit your email
• Survey responses are stored with your email submission and shared with the landing page owner
• Optional participation - Some surveys may be required, others optional (clearly indicated)

2.3 Analytics Data (Privacy-Focused)

To help you validate your ideas, we collect minimal analytics data:

• Page views and button clicks - To calculate engagement metrics
• Referrer information - To understand where your traffic comes from
• User agent strings - To understand device and browser types
• IP addresses (hashed) - We use SHA-256 hashing to anonymize IP addresses for spam prevention only. We never store raw IP addresses.
• Product analytics (PostHog) - We use PostHog to track user flows and improve the product experience. This data is anonymized and used only for product improvements.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our service
• Send you magic link authentication emails (via Resend)
• Display your landing pages to visitors
• Collect email submissions and survey responses from landing page visitors
• Provide analytics and validation metrics to landing page owners
• Prevent spam and abuse of our service
• Improve our product and user experience (via PostHog analytics)
• Communicate with you about your account or service updates

4. Email Submissions and Survey Responses

When you submit your email address through a landing page:

• Your email is stored and shared with the owner of that landing page
• Any survey responses you provide are stored with your email submission
• The landing page owner can view and download your email address and survey responses
• We use hashed IP addresses to prevent spam submissions
• We do not share your email with third parties or use it for marketing purposes

5. Data Storage and Security

We take data security seriously:

• All data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider
• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Database access is protected with row-level security policies
• IP addresses are hashed using SHA-256 before storage
• User authentication uses secure JWT tokens with appropriate expiration

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies for essential functionality:

• Authentication cookies - To keep you logged into your dashboard
• Session cookies - For essential website functionality

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in these limited circumstances:

• With landing page owners - Email submissions and survey responses are visible to the owner of the landing page where they were submitted
• Service providers - We use Supabase for database hosting, Resend for sending authentication emails, and PostHog for product analytics
• Legal requirements - If required by law or to protect our legal rights

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your data - View all landing pages and email submissions associated with your account in your dashboard
• Delete your data - Delete your landing pages and associated analytics data at any time
• Export your data - Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Opt-out - Stop using our service at any time

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. When you delete a landing page, all associated data (analytics, email submissions, survey responses, images) is permanently deleted from our systems.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
